Competence Management - Meeting The Needs Of Your Company

Competence management aims at using optimally and developing the competencies of employees, that is their ability to put in practice their knowledge, experience, know-how according to the goals of the corporation they work for. Competence management is relatively new field in human resources but has been increasingly recognized and implemented within firms over the past few years and is widely seen as essential for the achievement of a company's objectives.

Management coaching will help you install a competence management program, which can only work if management is completely on board and cooperative. It is their job, after all, to evaluate every employee's skills to establish their competencies so that they can be measured against the company's needs. If you doubt your company's ability to use competence management, consultants can help you. Although this will cost a bit more, the added expense will be worthwhile.
